There are also assemblies of all the girls in a town at a sick woman’s couch, either at her request according to…[a vision] or dream she may have had, or by order of the Oki [shaman] for her health and recovery. When the girls are thus assembled they are all asked, one after another, which of the young men of the town they would like to sleep with them the next night.
