Today’s teens exist without the benefit of the many behavioral speed bumps we had when we were teenagers. Not only can they act on their impulses with ease, they can create a sharable record in the process. From this perspective we see that the issue isn’t the impulses that come with adolescence, it’s the potential that digital technology gives to them.
