After some initial growing pains, the United States debuted some innovative imperial pilot programs like Cuba and Hawaii in the late nineteenth century. But it wasn’t until after World War II that we truly inherited Great Britain’s mantle as the international point man for capital. America would soon end up invading/sabotaging/destroying literally most of the countries in the world in pursuit of maximum synergy.
