Unpregnant

In my mind, I’d imagined coming into the clinic, my hair shiny, my clothes neat, so that anyone who saw me would have a moment of surprise that that sort of girl would need an abortion. But coming in looking like this? Messy, smelly, and sleep deprived? Looking average? How would people know I was better than this?
