To wish for dharma is weakness. To pray for dharma is like praying that you don’t rob someone’s house. It’s easy—just don’t do it! If you want dharma in your life—if you want truth and goodness and love—you must be the first one to uphold it.
This is dharma’s dictate: love all and hurt none.
The conscience is the only real judge. But the conscience is also stricter than any external judge, and it has the power to punish us far more severely.
