Let’s use some “spiritual mathematics.” I lay hands on Brother A and give him a double portion of my anointing. Now he has twice what I have. He lays hands on Brother B, who now has four times what I have. Brother B lays hands on Brother C (we’re up to eight times my anointing now). He lays hands on Brother D (16 times and counting!), who lays hands on Brother E (32 times the power), who lays hands on Brother F (he’s up to 64 times my “zapping” ability), who lays hands on Brother G (who now has 128 times my anointing), who lays hands on Brother H (256), who lays hands on Brother I (who gets 512 times what I have). Brother I now lays hands on me and—glory!—I have 1,012 times the anointing I had just a few seconds ago.
