Follow some new people. Check to see if those people followed you back. Maybe go look at your email again, just in case. It’s easy to spend hours on your phone without using the same app twice – or staying focused for more than a few seconds at a time. It’s worth pointing out that dopamine-induced excitement is not the same thing as actual happiness. But try telling that to our brains.
