Thank you for being everything and then nothing.

Because of you, I learned to believe in love. I learned that some parts of me are worth loving. I learned that I have qualities that others can appreciate and admire.

I’ll always love you more than anyone else because you taught me what love is.

Loving you was learning how to respect our differences, how to find beauty in your imperfections, how to still be there for you and be your strength even when my world is falling apart.

Loving you was learning how to believe in love. It was learning how to trust again. It was learning that love doesn’t always hurt. It doesn’t always walk away. It doesn’t always destroy us.

Loving you was learning that love is a personal choice and I’ll always choose love. And if I had to do it all over, I would still choose you.

You make me want to trust my heart again because it found you and somehow that was the best thing that ever happened to it.
