What books or authors are your favorite? There are so many books and authors I admire, but right now, Maggie Nelson’s Bluets is at the top of my list. I just think it is so bold and beautiful and brilliant. I also really admire Cheryl Strayed (Wild) because she writes with such lovely, brutal honesty about her struggles and imperfections. I also love Jo Ann Beard’s The Boys of My Youth and Marion Winik’s First Comes Love. These women all tackle tough personal experiences with a frankness I tremendously admire.
