In March 2015, Jones upped the impact of his work even further. Joining forces with a group of Russian monks living in Thailand (who, improbably, happened to be tech whizzes), he moved from projecting his art onto flat 2-D surfaces into fully immersive 3D experiences. The coder-monks crafted Jones’s original media files into a string of modular scenes.
