Axelrod went to break bread with Ailes, with whom he had a relationship that went back to the days when Ailes was a Republican political consultant. Fox handled this rapprochement with the decorum of the immature frat boys we would later learn they were when much of the company resigned in multiple sexual harassment scandals. They immediately went out and declared victory.
