when you’re not considered to be a threat, you can get away with much, much more.

That’s the one sound that matters to me above all others … that one precious moment when someone breathes their last then slips away.

I’ll bring all that is bad in their lives to an end. I will save them from themselves. That is what I am: a saviour of lost souls.

So much of what you believe – or what you have convinced yourself to be true – can be flipped on its head quicker than you can ever imagine.

I once read that if you tell yourself the same thing over and over again, eventually you’ll forget where the truth ends and the fantasy begins.
