Inseparable

The only thing that is guaranteed is in the moment.

Me? I roll out of bed at the last possible moment, having hit that snooze button at least five times. My beauty routine consists of brushing my teeth and quickly dragging a comb through my hair. Skinny jeans, shirts, blouses, and my well-worn Converse is my usual attire.

“Why are you deeming to grace us with your presence?”

That’s the problem with secrets—they drive a stake right through the heart of relationships, invoking all kinds of imaginary inventions, all manner of protective protestations.

I laugh myself silly when we get in the Jeep and Ayden lavishes kisses on the steering wheel. “Dude, you are so weird.”

Time to understand that I can’t control every single facet of my life. I can only control those aspects that I can directly influence.
