Patrick was investigated for medical neglect in the early 2000s when he was unable to afford his daughter Tabatha’s antibiotic prescription after an emergency room visit. When her condition worsened and he took her back to the ER the next day, a nurse threatened to call CYF on him. Frightened and angry, Patrick picked his daughter up and walked out.
