Just like the poor man, we all face struggles in life. We struggle because we are unaware of the precious jewel that lies within us.
All of humanity’s suffering, both at the individual and collective level, is due to us being unable to perceive our precious jewel.
Our minds create suffering.
Practitioners use meditation to break through the barriers of the mind that prevent the experiencing of expanded awareness, known as Satori.
Buddhism is more a lifestyle as well as an internal science for understanding life.
Like the servant, most of us live out our lives according to the orders that are given by our minds.
we believe that the thoughts that we think reflect who we are as an individual.
Because we identify with our thoughts, we suffer.
When we transcend the mind, we no longer identify with it.
