I always think that in this well-connected generation, it has been peace that I aspire for such that when I leave this world, I go unnoticed.

“Got one of those marijuana cigarettes?” Ed said. “One would calm me right about now.”

This novel was published in 1962. Curious to know if Marijuana was legal in the novel. Have we been so late in legalizing it?

we cannot do it all at once; it is a sequence. An unfolding process. We can only control the end by making a choice at each step.

It is similar to the world today. We have lost so much to the corrupt and vile -politicians, religious leaders, even capitalists. Every step that we take now becomes more important to make sure we are not fully overcome.

We do not have the ideal world, such as we would like, where morality is easy because cognition is easy. Where one can do right with no effort because he can detect the obvious.
