I’m not choosing one life over another or Miranda over you. But because of everything that’s happened, because of bad decisions I’ve made, the TCB intends to kill her, and I can’t let that happen.
Miranda is why I’m going back.
Not because I just want to be with her, though of course I do. I’m going back to save her life. It’s my fault she’s in this predicament, and it’s my responsibility to make sure she’s safe.
