‘Gurudeva, what should I do to make my soul pure again?

‘An aware soul is a pure soul,’ replied Gurudeva plainly,

‘If a soul is aware of who it is and where it is headed, it is pure. Are you’—

‘Yes, Gurudeva,’ he replied at once. ‘I just want to spend the rest of my life in your service.

‘That reply came, I am afraid, from your mind, not necessarily your soul,’

your soul, like the majority of humans of this era, is asleep,’

‘Your soul awoke for a brief period of time on the day you buried your son. But then it slumped back into drowsiness.

this fragile, crying self is not you; this is your mind.

You are a powerful soul connected to the immortal Lord Hanuman, but your mind is a weak slave of the external world, Maya.

‘Lord Hanuman is directing your soul, your soul in turn should direct your mind, and your mind should then interact with Maya accordingly.

Your mind is taking directions from Maya while your soul is lulled into ignorance.

He had let a variety of experiences pass through his mind the way water flows between shores of a river. He didn’t know whether his soul awoke or not, but he had successfully lulled his mind to sleep, a sleep so deep that no experience, no matter how painful or joyful, how dull or extraordinary, could linger in his mind, let alone instruct or control it.

He learned that a ritual is all about the experience, and not about understanding.

‘The immortal Lord Hanuman comes every 41 years to impart supreme knowledge to his disciples, the Mahtangs.’

He, with the help of other sages, deciphered these puzzles and documented them under the title Immortal Talks.

I am going to consult our ancestors who live along the negative coordinates of Time.

It is such a good reminder of the illusionary nature of the mortal world we tend to passionately attach to.’

Even though his ears were open, he didn’t hear Mata’s goodnight wish because his mind had occupied itself with something else.

Maya has all the powers to enslave a human mind and control what information the latter receives.

‘Any soul you are attached to is a mermaid for you because it slowly pulls you into the pond of its bad Karma,’

‘Yes, if you are attached to him you are being slowly dragged by his soul, the mermaid, into the dark pool of all the bad Karma it may have,’

If there is a transfer of bad Karma taking place between us because of the attachment, it has to be mutual. If we imagine attachment as a channel between two souls, the flow can’t be one-sided,’

‘If the attachment is mutual, then transfer is mutual. The souls of both of you are mermaids for each other

It just happens because that is the nature of a soul; it wants to get rid of bad Karma and possess good Karma. Therefore, by the sheer nature of a soul, only the bad Karma flow through the channel of attachment unless some artificial means are deployed to alter the natural process.

Patients with an infectious disease don’t intend to infect you. It just happens if you come in contact with them.’

There are mainly nine emotions: Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, Pity, Disgust, Expectation, Surprise, and Trust.

You are attached to those who give you joy. You are attached to those who make you sad. You are attached to those you fear. You are attached to those you are full of pity for. You are attached to those who disgust you. You are attached to those you expect from. You are attached to those who surprise you. You are attached to those you trust. In short, you are attached to those who evoke any kind of emotion in you.

‘The stronger the attachment, though, the quicker and higher the transmission of bad Karma,’

‘And there is no escape from this harm, is there?’

Whatever has to happen to him has already happened. You have the freewill to live any scene you want, but not to create or alter a scene.

While you are living a scene, you should feel that you are the doer. It brings the sense of reality to the experience. But once the scene is over, this knowledge is supposed to get activated and lead you out of the scene, off the T-strings.

Even the soul has left it but Prana hasn’t.

Desire sprouts from imaginations and imaginations get triggered by the external world we perceive in different ways.

Karma-Desires. And what are they? They are everything that builds your identity: your beliefs, passions, likes, dislikes and so on.

‘Deva, what is it like leaving the body? Is it like going into dreams and living random and mostly unconnected scenes?’
