‘An aware soul is a pure soul,’ replied Gurudeva plainly, ruffling the feathers of his pet parrot that had now landed on his forearm. ‘If a soul is aware of who it is and where it is headed, it is pure.

A typical human mind remains under control of the external world, Maya, which has a never-ending arsenal of highs-lows, good-bad, right-wrong, love-hate, pleasure-pain, likes-dislikes, pure-impure, spiritual-materialistic, belief-disbelief, rational-irrational, and so on to keep a mind engaged. Therefore, Maya has all the powers to enslave a human mind and control what information the latter receives.

‘Any soul you are attached to is a mermaid for you because it slowly pulls you into the pond of its bad Karma,’ replied Baba, returning to his pleasant self.

It is based on the fact that every diseased body has its corresponding healthy body present in the alternative plane of existence. The soul can switch from the diseased body to the healthy body in no time, but the illusionary external world, Maya, keeps the soul trapped in the diseased body. It keeps the soul believing that the diseased body is the only reality.

If you can imagine a scene, it exists out there in Space-Time. Whether you get to live it or not is another matter. When you live a scene, you earn an experience. When you desire to live a scene but can’t live it, then also you earn an experience. An experience can be imagined as a packet of light. Every

When you live a scene, you earn a green packet of light called Karma. When you desire to live a scene (think, imagine, hope, or pray for a scene to happen), you earn a packet of red light called Desire. When a Desire gets fulfilled, it turns into Karma, or the red packet turns into green.

Karma and Desire are the only two building blocks of one’s identity.

Remember, you are not the creator of the scene. It would be taking place even if you weren’t here to watch it, feel it, live it. You are just an Experiencer. You have come to this tunnel to live an experience.

You would be called ‘a soul’ during your journey on the T-strings, the journey between getting on and getting off them. No matter how many scenes you live and how much time you spend on the T-strings, it would be counted as the journey of one soul.

If you can return to nothingness after living each scene, you are not an ordinary soul. You are a Deva, a god.

You have the freewill to live any scene you want, but not to create or alter a scene. The lack of this knowledge results in the belief that you are the doer or the creator.

An ordinary soul can’t get off the T-strings after each scene; it can’t fully let go of its body of light upon completion of a scene. It can, however, keep its body of light so flexible that it can squeeze into the tunnel where its desired scene is being played.

While living a scene, it is alright to cling to these packets of Karma-Desire and enjoy the scene. Once the scene is over, you should try to loosen your grip on them so as to squeeze into the next scene you desire to live. You should question everything around you. You should even question the idea and act of questioning everything. Once the world around you feels like a blank screen, grab the packets of Karma-Desire yet again. You will find yourself living the scene you had last desired to live.

Acts of kindness done by ordinary human beings are triggered by thoughtful calculations of its benefit in terms of Karma, and are followed by the pride and satisfaction which lingers for a long time.

That is what attachment does to mortals. It makes them hold on tightly to their identity, their beliefs, their notions. It makes them insecure and foolishly possessive about who they are and what they have. Love liberates a person, but love infested with attachment does the opposite.

Fear, anger, sadness, disgust, shock, worry, and apathy are some of the major negative flavours in a human life. Imagine there is an Asurrah. It finds a person who is fearful. It will enter his body and savour fear. It will try to keep him fearful as long as possible, but when the fear is no longer there, it will abandon his body.

Joy, trust, hope, amazement, and sympathy are some of the major positive flavours in a human life. Surrahs keep a lookout for people who are going through such positives and enter their body-minds to savour and prolong what they crave most—the positive flavours of human life.

To get rid of them, you need to refuse to believe in your worldview. You must refuse to believe that what you see is the only reality. Even if everything you perceive and everyone you know validates your worldview, just refuse it. It is like saying ‘no’ to a swindler who sounds convincing to you in every way. Simply saying ‘no’ a couple of times will irritate them and they will either flee quietly or show their true colours.

The solution, again, is to refuse to believe what you are made to believe by the cursed souls. They will flee and things will start getting back to normal in your life.

Prayer has the power to free you from all three types of cursed souls. You should pray at the beginning of a time period: a day, a week, a fortnight, a month, a year.

At the end of a day, get something to offer to your deity. It can be leaves, flowers, fruits or anything procured with love and faith. The next day in the morning, sit quietly before your deity and make your offerings one by one. With each item you offer, the incidents you went through during the previous day will flash in your mind. Surrender them all to your deity. If something made you sad during the previous day, just surrender it to your deity. If something gave you joy during the previous day, just surrender it to your deity. Whether life gave you a positive flavour or a negative one, ...more
