The truth is that demons are more attracted by what you think than what you do. The deeper truth is that knowing who you are in Christ determines how you think. The only way to know who you are in Christ is to know what He thinks about you. That is to say, if you know what God has to say about you, then the lies of the enemy seem silly. This is the majority of what you need
to know about dealing with demons.
I think that’s why He tells us in 1 Corinthians 14:1 to pursue prophecy. If you know what God has to say about you, then it doesn’t matter what anyone or anything else has to say.
Knowing who God says you are is just as important as knowing who God is.
While part of the strategy of the demonic is to deceive us into believing lies about ourselves, the other part is trying to get us to believe lies about others.
Demons have no authority over you unless you give it to them.
Our fears, grudges, and wounds let demons in; and our fears, grudges, and wounds make it impossible for them to leave.
More often than not, getting rid of demonic influence is as simple as hearing what God has to say about your life.
Lies are the only real power demons have, and lies are only powerful if you believe them.
If your thoughts create love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, then you are headed in the right direction.

Prophetic words and psychic readings are the same thing, if we’re operating solely from the gift and not using that gift from a place of relationship with God.
When you’re a child of God, you change everything you touch.
So I pray a simple prayer: “I command that access point to be closed up. I cover it with the blood of Jesus, and I repent for not trusting God to be my provider.”
It’s more important to change the way you think than to perform the correct ritual.
And you give power to the things you fear because fear is a kind of faith.
Fear is the expectation of attack or pain, meaning you believe whatever you are afraid of has the capacity to do you harm. That belief is faith that darkness has power over you. It is a disservice to the authority God has given to you to be afraid of anything demonic.
The point is that you need the voice of the Holy Spirit in your life for everything.

because He saw them as treasure hidden beneath the trash.

those who experienced loss because of those events. He would point to this situation and that situation, using evidence to slowly melt away people’s hope.

Principalities, being demonic rulers over specific geographic regions, leave an open throne when they are brought down, and it seems to me that you shouldn’t go tearing things off thrones that you aren’t prepared to

Principalities can only stay where they have a place to land. While casting down a principality will remove it from its place, it is much more profitable and powerful to change the spiritual ecosystem that attracted it in the first place.
