Life really mattered! Our choices and actions really mattered! Life was not just a game. It wasn’t just a place to have the most fun. We were making choices—choosing courses of action, setting priorities, becoming someone—that had eternal ramifications.
You were called to salvation, justified, and recreated in me for good works, which my Father prepared beforehand that you might walk in them and glorify him. You were also given spiritual gifts with which to serve joyfully and fruitfully in the power of the Holy Spirit.
You have lived your life in a world of illusions, partial-truths, and deceptions. Besides these, self-deception is a chief consequence of sin.
Once you look directly at it, could there be a more idiotic state of mind than bigotry and racism? More than idiotic, they are really slanders of God, who made people what they are, and placed them where and when he pleased.
