All Stoics accept the three topoi, ethics, logic, and physics. Their all teach virtue with the aim of living in accordance with human nature. Their logical systems include both the modern, formal definition, the study of what consequences follow from what premises, and epistemic concerns, concerns about the nature of knowledge and what human beings can know. Stoic physics includes the modern sense of the word, encompassing a variety of natural sciences, and metaphysics and theology.
