During our conversation, I realized how much of my stress and guilt was coming from taking too much responsibility for everyone in my life. In fact, I needed to anticipate their desires and preemptively satisfy them before they became upset. Because if someone was upset with me for any reason, it was my fault and I was a bad guy who needed to fix it instantly.
