Crosby and Textor labelled Hammond ‘a fucking cheese dick’ and told Hill and Timothy, ‘We need to keep him away from everything from now on.’ A colleague recalled, ‘I’d never really heard “cheese dick” until that point.’ But the phrase caught life, and soon Hill was using it about Hammond too.
