broken, are most in need, are most vulnerable to the oppression of the world. So we will show up, say something, and be still. 12. Our hearts break when we see violence of any type—violent speech, violent actions, violent retaliation and self-preservation. But in the kingdom of God, we beat our swords into plowshares and refuse to use violence of any kind to achieve peace. We will rely on the creativity of the Holy Spirit. So we will be peacemakers, not peacekeepers.
