Geithner came to Treasury from the Fed, where he was president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. This despite the fact that he failed to pay his full share of federal income taxes from the years 2001 through 2004. He claimed it was an honest mistake. Maybe it was, but should someone who fails to pay his taxes be appointed to the federal agency that controls the collection of taxes?

China is using capitalism to build strong international relationships and to change geopolitical thinking. The U.S. foreign policy of sanctions, isolation, and military actions has only produced hatred and distrust of the U.S.
