Of course, I’ve come across my share of narcissists, sexual omnivores, and careless, selfish, or vengeful people. I have seen extreme acts of deceit, where unsuspecting partners have been blindsided by the discovery of second families, covert bank accounts, reckless promiscuity, and elaborate schemes of duplicity. I’ve sat across from men and women who brazenly lie to me for the entire duration of the therapy.
