Large-Capitalization Value Funds A large-cap value fund invests in companies with large market capitalizations—that is, companies whose outstanding stock has a total market value of $10 billion or more. Companies of this magnitude tend to be more secure and established than most, and, as a rule, they pay quarterly dividends to shareholders.
