The purpose of every vocation, as we discussed in the previous chapter, is to love and serve the neighbors that each vocation brings into our lives. Thus, in marriage we are to love and serve our spouse. In parenthood, we are to love and serve our children. In our jobs, we are to love and serve our customers.
