Because our stamina is low and tolerance for racial stress is weak, we often have conversations about racial justice being unsafe (consider the opening story from Drew Hart as an example of this). But it’s rare that these situations are actually unsafe; they’re uncomfortable because we aren’t accustomed to that level of discourse.
