Jubilees is an imaginative, at times fanciful, retelling of Genesis and parts of Exodus. While it follows the story line of the Bible in broad terms, it also introduces some new elements, short stories, and brief interpretive vignettes we won’t find in the Bible, all intended to interpret the original biblical text.
