One of the key texts that underlies the Messianic Apocalypse is Psalm 146, a biblical hymn in praise of God the Creator and Redeemer. The psalmist lists several of the divine attributes, characteristics of the God of Israel that are so marvelous that they simply demand Israel’s praise. This list overlaps partially with the list of the divine blessings in the Messianic Apocalypse.
