The Dweller legend states that when a person on the spiritual path consciously approaches a place or state of soulful enlightenment, at the very moment they’re about to enter into its full embrace—on the “threshold,” as it were—this Dweller allegedly appears and must be confronted and defeated in order for the person to successfully pass through.
