Circumcision needs to stop for boys, too. Same goes for ear piercing for infants. Religion and culture are not reasonable justifications for mutilating a child.
While children are protected under many nations' laws, their bodily autonomy is still violated in ways that have no medically necessary purpose. Elective surgeries and purely cosmetic mutilations should require consent.
