Indeed, it is hard to see that in any of the physical theories that I have been discussing so far there can be any significant ‘non-computable’ elements. It is certainly to be expected that ‘chaotic’ behaviour can occur in many of these theories, where very slight changes in initial data can give rise to enormous differences in resulting behaviour.
