When you tuck in your thumbs in their respective fists and turn these fists over, this is called sambodhini or sannirodhini mudra. After chanting your mantra and while showing the mudra, just chant, ‘Jaya Devi! Suswagatam!’ if you are invoking feminine energy, or ‘Jaya Deva! Suswagatam!’ if you are invoking the masculine energy.

Sammukhikarana means to present. In sammukhikarana, you mentally present various offerings like a glass of water, or a cool drink, or fanning your deity. All of this is done mentally while you visualize with utmost reverence and devotion. When fists formed in the sambodhini mudra are turned upwards, this is called sammukhikarana mudra.
