Everybody was acting as if this had not happened and encouraging us not to talk about it. Hillary was enjoying a solid postconvention bounce in her poll numbers and the first positive coverage since the beginning of the campaign. No one in Brooklyn wanted to distract from the good mood with a slew of stories about the DNC hacking.
