Many Christians think of Jesus as someone who can save them and help them, but they practically deny Him as Master. They think they have a right to have their own will in a thousand things.
am sure many believers struggle to find out what they are lacking and what is missing. They might have given themselves up most heartily and fully to Jesus. They love Him, and they have sought to humble themselves in the dust. What is missing is simply that they have not learned to say, “He has promised, and He will do it.”
Let me say for your encouragement that a promise from God is worth just as much as a fulfilment.
