To the right, brilliant yet soft light filtered through a subtle mist. But to the left, the ground sloped downward and away sharply into a crevasse of deep blackness.
It was a helpless and beggarly request. “God, help me!” I was out of options. To my wonderment, and in the midst of my despair, God answered my desperate plea.
Darkness and evil cannot exist in the light of God!
As the three lights began to take on form, I realized they were more than points of light coming out of the distance. These were not some kind of UFOs. They were angels! I watched in wonder as they came to a soft, perfect touchdown right in front of me. Before me stood three indescribably beautiful creatures.
In that moment, I knew that God had heard my plea, “God help me.” I fell to my knees overwhelmed with awe and gratitude on the soft green grass of Heaven.
They were contrails of prayer. In the blaze of Heaven’s glory, I had almost forgotten my earthly life.
With a gentle look of reproach in those beautiful violet eyes, the angel told me that, sadly, mankind is losing the will to pray.
God hears our every petition, and in fact it is recorded and noted in the halls of knowledge.
If you want proof that prayer works, pray for someone else and watch what happens. God loves a selfless prayer.
Nothing is lost. There are no lost prayers, no lost babies, no lost tears, no lost acts of kindness. All are present and eternal with God.
