We don’t face death and accept it, but the truth is we have to. Buddhist monks meditate in front of corpse until decomposition and turns to nothing but dust. This instills a state of calmness and peacefulness to light up their hearts with light. I overcame this fear and revulsion towards death and I found out that life is precious in a greater level and it is worth living each dying moment. This made me to rise above the fear of death and the unknown. I now know that it is just a part of life that I have to accept and put up with.
