Happiness is a simple choice to take. Being content with what we have and facing all the struggles with the same can lead to a blissful state of happiness.
The trick is to focus on the moment to find peace and tranquility.

I realized that my mind can be either a heaven or hell and it all depends on me. I can either be happy and compassionate or I can drown in my own sorrow and my self-pity. When I water my seeds of positivity, I am surrounded with a positive energy that is good for me. And at the same time I had to learn from all my sufferings. This choice of being positive is an amazing choice to have taken.
An important lesson I learnt is that the anxiety of the future and the regrets of the past should not cross over my way of living. I started living life as though the moment that I’m present in is all that I have. By letting go off the anxious worries, I figured out that life is available in the holy moment “now”.
Blaming and arguing doesn’t do anything to the relationship and it only ruins the bond in a relationship. Being kind and strong is not a weakness and it is something that should be etched in our minds.
I imagined myself as a beautiful burning candle and I realized that I light up my surroundings with my aura. That is when I realized that all my thoughts, actions and words dissipate all around from me to make me who I am.
Our presence and our attention is the greatest gift that we can give to anyone. It matters the most when we have to love someone and care for them. Being available to them with our complete attention whenever they need it- that is true love.
When someone makes us suffer, it is a reflection of their suffering spilling over us. By understanding this basis of suffering, we should let go of anger and practice compassion. Suffering comes from weak-hearted people who are limited in compassion. People who suffer never understand the shortcomings of other people.
We have to start welcoming all our feelings, be it good or bad. Even if we are in a bad phase, we have to treat them both at the right way equally. All these extremes are sacred when we are mindful and fair.
I was never afraid to love and I knew that without love, life is an incomplete maze of nothingness. This happened when I started loving myself and all the others in such a way that it made me free and happy on the inside.
We can do a lot just by sitting down in mediation and breathing mindfully. We have to be calm and at peace to attain the state of consciousness.
We always tend to ask ourselves what is wrong and why is it happening? We are actually inviting pain and sorrow to cultivate by itself by doing this. This makes us to suffer more and it brings in a happy and irritating feeling afterwards. I always chose to stay in touch with my healthy and positive side at these times. I asked myself what is not wrong and I longed to work on the things that are not wrong at that time.
Anger is a negative emotion that occurs due to lack of self-understanding and the reasons that led to the emotion. Roots of anger actually lie in desire, greed, doubts and agitation.
Friends are a vital source of security and warmth we need in life. It doesn’t matter if we have lots of money, we will suffer if we don’t have a friend to share our joy and sorrow with. We have to find a real friend to lean on during the hard times that we go through.
Being away from mother earth and her wonders is very bad for humankind and it can destroy our home here. I became practically aware of this fact and I swore onto myself to save the planet I live in.
