Here, I will consider the words ‘believing in others’ in the context of distinguishing trust from confidence. First, when we speak of trust, we are referring to something that comes with set conditions. In English, it is referred to as credit. Important to separate trust from confidence. Have confidence in people, not trust. Because trust is something lent and can be broken; which is not a good ideology to cling onto. Unconditional is better.
