Every minute you get stuck in unhelpful thoughts and feelings is time you’re not spending experiencing the moments of your life as they happen right now.
mindfulness is living your life in a way that’s deliberate and effective.
mindfulness actually enlarges the parts of the brain that help us align our behaviors with long-term goals.
Mindfulness is the opposite of rumination.
thoughts are simply thoughts, and that one thought isn’t a fact.
We also focused on not waiting to feel “motivated” to do something, but to stick to a schedule.
