1. Spiritual energy.Meditate or pray. 2. Physical energy.Get enough sleep, eat the right foods, and exercise.
3. Emotional energy.Spend time with loved ones. Hug, kiss, and laugh. 4. Mental energy.Plan your day with a schedule or calendar and set goals. 5. Business energy.Schedule your “ONE Thing” (your most important task for that day or week).
Productivity.Are you getting a lot done, or are you struggling? ● Alertness.Do you feel alert or sleepy? ● Mood.Are your happy or in a bad mood? ● Focus.Are you focused and able to concentrate or unfocused and distracted?
Pitch.“Pitch” referred to our sales pitch. ● Pace.“Pace” referred to our speediness (i.e. did we speak to lots of prospects or lounge around and go through our day at a lazy pace?). ● Attitude.“Attitude” referred to… well… our attitude (i.e. were we upbeat and happy or downbeat and grumpy?). ● Goals.“Goals” referred to things that we would focus on improving the next day, as well as potentially sales targets we set for ourselves.
Did you over/underestimate how long certain tasks would take? ● What distracted you from working on your most important tasks?
Is there anything you can delegate (or simply eliminate altogether)? ● What would you do differently if you could “re-do” this day again?
“morning question”. Franklin’s morning question was simple: “What good shall I do this day?”
Then, of an evening, he’d asked himself what he called his “evening question”: “What good have I done today?”
