James Grenning tells prospective clients, “I’ll teach your embedded software team how to test drive.” Sally Lehman has created a niche for herself that would serve well in a consulting capacity: “I can help you with email delivery.” But beyond that, look at the folks that offer products rather than productized services. Eugen and Thorben specialize in Spring and Hibernate, respectively, and offer courses. John Sonmez offers info products to teach software developers soft skills.
