Finally, consider the traditional app dev “consultancy.” This type of organization seems most ripe for the conversion to efficiencer firm, but I submit that most will never transition. Instead, they will live on as the perpetual budget-brand version of the efficiencer firm, taking in specs and spitting out matching software and proclamations of “Don’t blame me—that’s what you asked for!”
