Those who climb the iceberg to get to the top are the ones most likely to choose advancement over the right thing every single time. And when you consider that not everyone looking to claw to the top is interested in using the position to do what they feel is right, you can see that becoming the big boss to do the right thing is a truly quixotic concept.
