The barriers to nuclear entry keep falling. Countries that are considered capable of carrying out a rapid nuclear breakout include Japan, Egypt, Australia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Iran. Moreover, the two big nuclear weapons states, Russia and America, are no longer so intimate with each other’s nuclear protocols. The trust has gone.
