Making the decision to uproot your life in order to be with a guy can feel counter to what we were taught as young girls—to be independent, to make a life for yourself and not rely on a man. But feminism is about being empowered to choose the life you want, and if being with the man you love is what will make you happy, then there’s nothing wrong with that.
