The underlying idea here is a huge beam that anchors God’s thoughts about your life and his reputation on earth. The premise is that Jesus’ desire for your life and my life is that we would have life to the full. As a result, Jesus will get glory from our lives as the Provider of the very best.

You know who David is in our story? Jesus. Jesus is David in the story of David and Goliath. Jesus is the giant killer.

Jesus fights the battles for us. Jesus stares down the face of impossible odds. Jesus takes up his sling. Jesus selects five smooth stones. Jesus takes aim at the giant. The giant falls because of the work of Jesus.
